JOSIE THOMAS Senior Vice President, Diversity
Josie Thomas is Senior Vice President, Diversity. She reports to Leslie Moonves, President & Chief Executive Officer, CBS Corporation.
Thomas works to enhance the Company's record of diversity both inside and outside the organization. Working with senior managers from all areas of CBS, she creates initiatives designed to improve outreach to diverse vendors, professional service suppliers and talent in front of and behind the camera. In August 2003, she launched the CBS Diversity Institute adding a diversity Writers Mentoring Program and Directing Initiative to the previously launched diversity focused Actor Showcases and Workshops. Thomas had been Vice President, Business Affairs, CBS News, since 1995. Prior to that, she served as Director of Business Affairs, CBS News (1989-95) and director of legal affairs for New York-based Trans World International, where she managed the legal aspects of program distribution, event broadcasting and production related contracts (1987-89).
From 1986 to 1987, she was Broadcast Counsel for the Law Department of CBS Inc., where she worked with the Entertainment, Sports and News divisions of the Company on all aspects of structuring development, employment and distribution agreements. She also advised those divisions on copyright and trademark matters. She began her career as a litigation associate at Anderson, Russell, Kill and Olick and was later associated with Weiss, Dawid, Fross, Zelnick & Lehrman.
Thomas is a graduate of Harvard College (B.A., cum laude, history), Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley (J.D.) and a member of the New York State Bar. She serves on the Outreach Advisory Council of the American Institute for Managing Diversity. She is the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Institute for Advanced Journalism Studies. She is a member of the Board of Visitors of the John H. Johnson School of Communications at Howard University, a former member of the NAACP Centennial Task Force Planning Committee. A member of the NAACP Spingarn Award Committee and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Diversity Committee. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Robey Theatre Company and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers. In 2006, she was the recipient of the first New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce Women of Excellence Award in Corporate Diversity.

TIFFANY SMITH-ANOA’I Vice President, Diversity & Communications
A native of Los Angeles, Tiffany N. Smith-Anoa’i has over 15 years of experience as a creative and dedicated communications professional. Over the years, Smith-Anoa’i has successfully promoted a wide variety of projects from celebrities to high profile brands. Her creative writing skills, tenacious media outreach and exceptional attention to detail has put Smith-Anoa’i on the fast track.
Smith-Anoa’i joined CBS Entertainment as a Senior Publicist for primetime series in 2000. Since then she has been promoted to Director of Publicity, Entertainment Communications for primetime series, movies and specials. Most recently, Smith-Anoa’i was promoted to Vice President, Diversity & Communications. In this position, she is directly responsible for the development and execution of communications strategies for diversity initiatives and programs across the entire company. She also manages the internship and mentorship program for CBS’ West Coast Communications office.
Prior to joining CBS, Smith-Anoa’i served as Vice President for Agnes Huff Communications Group, a full service public relations, marketing and crisis management agency.
During her tenure at Image Public Relations, Smith-Anoa’i was responsible for all aspects of publicity and promotions, including the development of press materials and arranging of high profile celebrity appearances. Smith-Anoa’i organized global press efforts for "Sinbad's Soul Music Festival," the single largest music event to host groups from one of America's most significant music eras, the 1970's.
Prior to her work at Image Public Relations, Smith-Anoa’i worked for NIKE, Inc. where she launched their NIKETOWN stores in, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
In her community, she is actively involved in several charities, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Smith-Anoa’i is an honors graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Smith-Anoa’i is married to Reno J. Anoa’i and they live in Los Angeles with their daughter.

BARBARA S. MATOS Manager, Diversity
Barbara S. Matos has been promoted to Manager, CBS Diversity. The announcement was made by Josie Thomas, Senior Vice President, Diversity, CBS Corporation. Matos will report to Thomas on diversity initiatives across the company.
Matos recently served as Coordinator for CBS Diversity. "Barbara has been an integral component of our diversity efforts. Her ability to connect with diverse partners significantly enhances our outreach," said Thomas.
Matos joined CBS in 1995 and worked in CBS International, Business Affairs. Prior to joining CBS, Matos was a paralegal at Mahler & Harris, P.C. Matos is a graduate of St. John’s University. She is also actively involved with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LATINO INDEPENDENT PRODUCERS {NALIP} and the Hispanic National Bar Foundation (HNBF). Matos is a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City program.

JEANNE MAU Director, Current Programs, CBS Entertainment
Jeanne Mau was promoted to Director, Current Programs, CBS Entertainment in August 2007, reporting to David Brownfield, Senior Vice President, Current Programs, CBS Entertainment.
In her position, Mau oversees the creative direction of the CBS series NCIS, CSI: MIAMI, COLD CASE and TWO AND A HALF MEN. She also oversees the CBS Diversity Writer's Initiative and Director's Initiative, part of the Network's on-going Diversity Institute designed to provide participants with access to key network decision makers in front of and behind the camera.
From 2005-2007, Mau was Manager, Current Programs, working on the comedies "Yes, Dear," "Still Standing" and "The King of Queens" as well as dramas "Judging Amy" and "Joan of Arcadia."
She started at CBS in 2000 as assistant to then current department head David Stapf (now President, CBS Television Studios) and was made a coordinator in the department in 2003.
Mau began her career in the motion picture marketing department at Paramount Pictures.
